Privacy Policy
How Quizy handles your data — short and straightforward.
1. Overview
Quizy doesn't require an account to play. We only collect the minimal information needed to run leaderboards, challenges and quiz ratings.
2. Information we collect
When you play a quiz, we store the nickname you choose (a freely chosen name, not verified or linked to your identity), your quiz results (score, percentage, hints used and completion time), and an anonymous session identifier used to remember your like/dislike vote on a quiz.
3. What we don't collect
Quizy has no user accounts, so we don't collect email addresses, passwords, or payment information. Quizy doesn't process any payments.
4. Cookies and local storage
We use local storage to remember your nickname between visits and to keep track of which quizzes you've already rated, so your experience stays consistent.
5. Sharing of information
Leaderboard entries and challenge links are public by design — anyone with a link to a quiz can see the nicknames and scores on its leaderboard.
6. Data retention
Quiz results and ratings are kept to power leaderboards and statistics. Since there are no accounts, there's no personal profile to delete — results are only linked to the nickname you chose at the time.
7. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. Continued use of Quizy after changes are published means you accept the updated policy.
